SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER

August 29th – October 10th

All members (Associate and Artist) may participate and bring in up to 3 paintings for auction.  Image size is 8x10. Mat size is 11x14. There is no entry fee.

The watercolor paper and matting will be provided by RIWS. The paintings will be displayed starting at the opening for the Faculty Show on August 8th in the Lower Gallery. Bidding will remain open until October 10th. The winning bidders for each painting will be announced at the National Show opening on October 10th .

Paintings will be accepted any time up to the auction ending date; however, we would appreciate having your painting by July 31st . The matting and packaging will be done by RIWS.
Bids for each painting will start with a minimum bid of $20.

Since this is a fund raising project, the paintings are donations and RIWS will keep 100% of the proceeds from the sale. Paintings that are not sold will be used in the next auction (we are hoping to hold them throughout the remainder of the year).

The paper will be available at RIWS.   If you don’t have time to stop in, bring in your finished painting and you can get a blank piece for your next project.
